Some pets get adopted and some get rescued!   P.E.T.S. and The Tehama County Animal Care Center are so very grateful to all of the rescues that help these boys and girls find homes, get them the exposure they need and make all important room for the next ones to follow them into the center, we cannot thank you enough!

Meet:  Brando

Millie was adopted!  Yippee

❤❤ Brando is back, 05-14-20-04, 4 years old, 62 lbs, neutered, current on his rabies vaccination, microchipped, and now heartworm negative. ❤❤

Brando was adopted and returned because he needs to live in a pig free environment. He does great with horses though!

Brando is a compact bundle of love! He had a great time playing with Candy and enjoyed some quiet exercise.

Brando is incredibly handsome, smart, treat motivated and because of his pushy affectionate style should be in a foster home without young children. Luckily he is a pretty quiet guy, and we think he would learn the crate very quickly. He enjoyed the toy for a few minutes but playing with Candy was more fun.

Brando was in a foster home while undergoing treatment for heartworms. He is now done with his treatment and heartworm free. While there we got an update from his foster dad: "Brando is doing really well in his foster home. He is very relaxed and quiet in the home. He is still getting used to stairs, but has learned to walk quietly on the leash, though wants to see other dogs when he encounters them. He is working on house training. He does well in the crate for 3-4 hours but after that gets anxious. He does very well loose in the house (not destructive). He will chase cats and should not live with them."
